What if you made Vimeo’s “tip this video” button your day job?

I wonder what it would take to truly make this profitable? It is an interesting concept and one I would try to make work. I think it would be a lot of exploration and running a campaign around the film. Much like running a crowdfunding campaign, it would in fact take a lot of work, pre planning and connections. What if you prepped a campaign, strategized and found a way to make it work? What if your day job was getting people to tip your films after you shot them?
